Evidence of HSBC lies

How HSBC, Europe’s largest bank tries to avoid liability for its fraud – by lying. This is an extract from an email received by a Private Eye journalist from HSBC dated 19 July 2013:

Here is a court record of a claim issued in the name of John Lewis Financial Services (HSBC) on 20 January 2010 with a collection charge of £728.97, whilst HSBC/HFC were under investigation by the OFT.

In November 2010 the Office of Fair Trading ordered HSBC (HFC) to stop applying these charges.
