Revolving doors, part 342

I have just discovered that the person at the Office of Fair Trading who investigated HFC(HSBC) for illegal charges, leading to this order, is now employed by HSBC. The Complaints Commissioner discovered in his investigation of the FCA’s actions that the OFT investigation apparently revealed only 4 consumers had been affected. I estimate 600,000 were affected. The order was covered up at the time of its publication so as not to embarrass Cameron as he was making the bank’s chair, Stephen Green, a lord.

The person who gave me this information also worked at the OFT but was unable to give me the name of the investigator, as he is still bound by the Official Secrets Act.
